chronicling our travels. After using that site for 17 years, technology changed; it can no longer be updated. Welcome to our NEW SITE which follows our journeys from the Fall of 2016 to present. Our thanks go to Andy Paluch/WebGuyz!
Suan Pakkad means "cabbage patch" which is what this area was
before it was transformed into Suan Pakkad Palace. It was
opened as a museum in 1952. All contents were owned by Prince
and Princess Chumbhot. The Palace has eight buildings in
total. Four of the buildings including this one - house four
- were transported from Chiang Mai and reassembled here.
