Amazing! We've found a large group of Elephants - ten in
total - known as "Rosie's Group". These Elephants are
desert-adapted and have learned how to survive in the Namib desert,
one of the most arid places on earth. All animals in
this area survive by taking advantage of the early morning mists
which occur when the cold Atlantic Ocean air hits the hot air of
the Skeleton coast. This airborne moisture settles as dew and
it is consumed before it burns away in the heat.
