This is an early photograph of a bustling street in Hong Kong.  In front of the photograph is a rickshaw.  Thankfully that means of transportation is no longer used in Hong Kong.

Another component of Hong Kong street festivals - processions with individuals or effigies carried in the air.

The Dragon Dance is still a major part of most festivals in Hong Kong.

These are elaborate costumes used in traditional Chinese opera.

This is the form of a typical boat that was used as housing for many Hong Kong residents.

This pottery is also from the Western Han Dynasty.

These bronze textile stamps from the Western Han Dynasty are the oldest found in China (206BC - 8AD).  They were used to print decorations on silk.  The motif of the large stamp is circular flames.  The small one is also flame-shaped.  

This is a setting with life-size models depicting ancient peoples living on the shores of one of the Hong Kong islands.  The background is a beautiful painting.
