It's amazing that this chariot wheel (and a few parts) were found intact!

These items are part of a collection of porcelain wares that were used by a prince.  Based on design and colors, these items are believed to be from the Yongle or Xuande regions of Hubei Province.

This is a collection of hair ornaments of a married woman.  In the Ming Dynasty, married women had to wear their hair in a bun.  These pieces were used to decorate the bun.

These are two jade belts - one of which was decorated with gold.

How about this.....  Gold dishware; pretty amazing!

This is a beautiful bronze sword that belonged Gou Jian, King of the Yue Peoples.

This very large "You" wine vessel was found in a tomb at Lijiazui.  It has an interesting motiff with one-legged monsters.  This vessel held "juchang," a type of wine made from Indian millet and vanilla.  This is one of the oldest type of wine vessels found in Hubei Province.

This is a collection of bronze wine vessels.  These vessels were very important and used in rituals in the Shang Dynasty.  There were similar vessels for food and water.

This tomb was found in the Gujiapo Site, part of the Qujialing Culture dating from 3,400 to 2,600 BC.  Wow, that's old!
