As we approached Watsons Bay, there was a regatta underway.  Sydney and its inhabitants love the calm waters in the bays.  After reaching Watsons Bay, we took two different buses (altogether a 50 minute ride) and returned to Bondi Junction Station.  It was then time to begin packing up for our flight the following day back to the US.

We've made our way into another bay - Rose Bay - near Lyne Park.  This company offers scenic flights over Sydney Harbor as well as other nearby venues in their De Havilland Beaver aircraft.  No need for us to take a ride; we've been on plenty of these airplanes when flying in the bush in Alaska.

Look at all the various boats parked in the bay with a beautiful residential area behind them.

We're not certain which "bay" we're peering into but the area is very, very lovely.  Perhaps Double Bay??

Another tourist site - the lovely and unforgettable Sydney Opera House.  There's a huge cruise ship docked on the back side of the Opera House.

We've just passed the bridge and are now looking at a residential area that comes down to the harbor.  Lots of boating activity is going on.

We took the train from Bondi Junction Station to Martin Place Station.  From there it was an easy walk to Circular Quay.  We queued up for the ferry to Watsons Bay.  When we got on board we took a seat outside to enjoy the views.  Our first tourist sight was Sydney Harbour Bridge.  If you look closely, under the bridge is a ferry coming our direction as it's heading to Circular Quay.  REMEMBER:  If you want to see more detail, click on the image (it will take a few seconds to compile).  To return to this page, click on the Blue/White arrow in the upper left corner of the screen.
