This lovely property was our home during our stay in Bucharest!

This beautiful church was built in the 19th century.  It's best known for the interior frescoes (unfortunatley, we could not go inside).

This beautiful building was finished in 1900.  It is the home of the CEC Bank, Romania's oldest bank.

The lovely dome inside Stavropoleos Church.

This photograph shows the highly decorated interior of the church.

Stavropoleos Church was originally part of a monastic complex but now is the only remaining part of the complex.  It's an active Eastern Orthodox Church.

It's wonderful that these Roman ruins have been preserved in the Old Town area.

What fun to enjoy a leisurely stroll through Bucharest on these cobbled streets.

Look at the copper domes on the National Bank building.
