Wow, it's a "Lion kind of day".  We've found a lone female resting.

This is a young male Lion with a very full tummy.  He's definitely enjoying his afternoon nap in the shade.

Here's a Secretary Bird.  If you haven't read our other posts, this bird gets its name because its plummage often looks like it has a pen or pencil tucked behind an ear.

What a beautiful face!  NOTE:  We don't have photographs of her friend; she took a route away from us in the tall grasses once she was spotted.

Now, we've come across two female Lions.  Here is the first beauty walking in front of our path.

This huge Elephant (a "Tusker") came into Swala to drink.
