							<description><![CDATA[<a title="Clonycavan Bog Man in Thursday, 1 November - National Museum of Archeology" href="https://ruggieroweb.com/EUROPE-AFRICA-MIDDLE-EAST/Round-the-World-2018-Europe/Dublin-2018/Museums/11.01-5-Natl-Museum-of-Archeology.Clonycavan-Bog-Man.JPG"><img src="https://ruggieroweb.com/cache/EUROPE-AFRICA-MIDDLE-EAST/Round-the-World-2018-Europe/Dublin-2018/Museums/11.01-5-Natl-Museum-of-Archeology.Clonycavan-Bog-Man_240_thumb.jpg" alt="Clonycavan Bog Man" /></a><p>The remains of Clonycavan Bog Man dates to between 392-201 B.C.&nbsp; The remains were found in a peat bog.&nbsp; The lower portion of the body was destroyed but the upper portion, including internal organs, were intact.&nbsp; The individual would have been about 5'7" tall.&nbsp; He had a very distinctive hairstyle - the hair on the top of his head grew long and was worn in a pony tail while the sides were cut very short.&nbsp; If you look at the remains, you can clearly see his face and hair.&nbsp; Pretty amazing find!</p><br />Date: 12/23/2019]]></description>
