Wow, it's so wonderful to see a pair of Tawny Eagles perched high in the tree.

Later that same day, we found an unusual sighting (at least for us) - a large group of Marabou Storks at a waterhole. 

One of our favorites - the lovely Lilac-breasted Roller.

This was the first time we've seen an African Openbill.  We definitely know where this bird gets its name!

We were once again able to see a Goliath Heron which is wonderful.  These birds are so large and impressive. 

We enjoyed watching this Yellow-billed Stock trying to feed on St. Patrick's Day.

Here's another view of this Long-tailed Paradise-Whydah.  We don't know if we will ever see this bird with it's huge tail again since we don't typically visit the Kruger National Park in March.

Well, this was definitely a first for us - seeing this Long-tailed Paradise-Whydah.  It's tail was so long (it was hoping to attract a mate) that it could barely fly.  When it did fly, it would bob up and down to accommodate the tail.  So amazing!

This lovely bird is a female African Grey Hornbill; stunning!

Here is their chick; what a treat!  Note that its colors are not fully developed.  Again, it's wonderful to see this young bird!
