Here are those tourists again!

These lovely falls are Opacka'a Falls.  Opacka'a means "rolling shrimp" and supposedly the water dazzles as a result of the abudance of fresh water shrimp.

This is a view looking south from Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. 

We found this pair of Nene Geese or Hawaiian Geese along with their gosling.  Nene Geese are endemic to the Hawaiian islands.  They are an endangered species.  They also are monogamous for life.  The word "nene" is descriptive of the sound they make when calling, a "nay nay".
