This evening we enjoyed a couple of special treats. First, we participated in an Animism ceremony where we each were given an Animist blessing. Animism is a religious belief whereby all objects, places and creatures possess a distinct spiritual essence. It is further believed that all things - animals, rocks, weather systems, plants, etc. - are alive. After receiving this blessing, we enjoyed some traditional dancing.
