This was our first visit to Xudum. After leaving Nxabega, it was a quick plane ride to the closest air strip near the lodge (amazingly, it was paved). After landing we were amazed at how we accessed the lodge. We boarded a high-speed boat that took us through a course that had been cleared of the abundant water plants that surround you. The ride alone was thrilling! Once you arrive at the dock at Xudum, the safari experience is similar to that of other Okavango Delta locations.
