The InterContinental in Bucharest is located at "0 Kilometer" - right in the center of the city. Less than a block away is the "Old Town" of Bucharest. It's a collection of beautiful buildings, churches, shops, the University of Bucharest, and lots of small cafes and restaurants. This area with its narrow, cobbled streets is perfect for a leisurely stroll during the day or night. We went early in the morning to capture these photographs. Otherwise, the streets are typically crowded after the shops and cafes open. Click on the first image to begin.
