On this trip outside of Bucharest, we enjoyed a lovely day - both in terms of the weather as well as our explorations.  Our day began at Sinaia Monastery, a monastic complex comprised of two churches.  The orginal church was built by the King's brother in 1695.  The newer church was built in the mid-19th century.  Both were extremely impressive.  Our next stop was Peles Castle.  It was so beautiful that it looked like a castle that came from straight out of a fairy-tale.  We then visited the impressive Bran Castle.  Yes, the castle associated with Dracula and we survived (only kidding; we didn't fall down any stairs!).  Lastly, we took a walk through the city of Brasov with its original Saxon architecture dating back over 800 years.  For more details, click on an album below.
