We spent five nights/four days in October in the lovely city of Madrid. The weather was perfect and the metro system makes it easy to get out and about in town on foot. As we just finished safaris in Tanzania and Kenya prior to coming to Madrid, we definitely needed a few days of "R & R". So, we enjoyed the city and its many wonderful places to stroll. Then, for grins we decided to visit to the Madrid Zoo. You can never get enough of animal viewing! Click on the first image below to begin.
