When we woke up, we began trying to find out the status of our luggage. We got conflicting information so we didn’t know what was going on. We stopped by the front desk and staff suggested that we return to the airport on the hotel’s shuttle to see if we could find out anything. We enjoyed a quick breakfast at the Club and then went to the airport. Once at the airport we learned that staff could only be reached at 9:30AM or 12:30PM and it was now about 10:15AM. Yikes! We decided to call the hotel to see if anything had occurred there and, thankfully, our luggage had arrived just after we left. So, back to the hotel we went to unpack and get out our sensible shoes and clothing for touring in Copenhagen.
We then walked to Orestad metro station and purchased a 72 hour transport card so we could explore many of the city attractions. We caught the metro and then a S-tog train to Central Station. From there, we walked to Tivoli Gardens. We continued walking through downtown until we reached City Hall Square and returned to the hotel via the metro.
