We enjoyed excellent game viewing on each and every morning and afternoon game drive. Our Ranger, Alfred, and our Tracker, Themba, did an outstanding job in locating wildlife as well as explaining behaviors, habitats and just sharing some fun information about what we were seeing. Makanyi Lodge has only three vehicles so on most game drives we were alone unless there was an exceptional sighting. Then the three vehicles took turns at the viewing. We enjoyed seeing the "Big Five" but we also enjoyed just spending quality time in the bush - whether sitting amongst a herd of Elephants or watching Lions enjoy a nap.
