Kruger National Park is an amazing area. It's huge and home to so many different species of wildlife. What's even better is that a visit to Kruger National Park is very affordable. You can rent accommodations in the park and then self-drive to look for game. Some roads are paved while others are gravel. You're not allowed to go off-road which means you may not get a "close-up" encounter but they still do occur. You travel at your own pace and can stay at a sighting for as long as you want.
