We spent five nights in the Timbavati Reserve at Ngala Tented Camp and Ngala Lodge. We were returning guests at Ngala Tented Camp so it was like going to visit friends. It was great seeing Dennis, the Camp Manager. We also had the pleasure of reuniting with our previous visit's Guide & Tracker, Scott & Earnest. This was the first time we visited Ngala Lodge. We hadn't planned on splitting our time but we made our booking a bit late so we had to stay at the Lodge for two nights. It is much larger than the Tented Camp but the staff there do an excellent job and you still receive great, personal attention. We've organized our viewing into daily sightings - usually involving a morning drive and an evening drive. That way you'll experience the viewings in the same way that we did.
