We spent seven nights in the lovely city of Vienna. It was such a wonderful stay! Vienna has such an amazing history and so many, many places to visit. Our home was The Hilton located adjacent to Stadtpark (a major city park just outside of Old Town) and overlooking the Wien River. The hotel’s location was very convenient as we were able to walk to almost all the major sights. It also was convenient in that the CAT Train (the main train to/from the airport) was directly across the street. Our first day in Vienna (25 July) we basically a travel day as we didn't arrive at the hotel until early evening. Our final day (1 August) was spent shopping - primarily for gifts for others.
