As noted earlier, Mhondoro Lodge enjoys a great location in the Welgevonden Game Reserve. The property is absolutely stunning. One very unique feature is a waterhole in front of the lodge. Yes, many lodges have waterholes on their property but you can access the Mhondoro Lodge waterhole via an underground tunnel where you can view game at eye-level; pretty amazing! The main lodge building as well as the accommodations are very lovely. Unfortunately, we didn't take photographs of the main building but you can find those on the Mhondoro website.
