We chose to travel to Southeast Asia - in particular, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos - as part of two separate cruises on The Mekong River. It was a great experience! We began in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). In between the cruises, we enjoyed a stay at Siem Reap visiting the Angkor Wat complex. Yes, it much more crowded than when we previously visited (2007) but if you go early, you can still enjoy some of the sights without too many other people. Click on a subalbum to begin.
